Jesus as Healer: The Personal Intimacy of Human Affection and Acceptance
Very beautiful, although I am a little confused by the argument that Jesus was challenging the status quo, since we believe it was he who established the Levitical law.Honest confusion,I love that the Saviour loved us sufficiently to engage with our broken bodies as well as our broken spirits.
Anonymous, he was challenging the status quo, not the Levitical law itself. The people / leaders had strayed far from the ideal of the Law, so the status quo wasn't any like "the law" really dictated.
Personal thoughts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; links to thought-provoking posts on Tuesday and Thursday; New Year's Resolution post on Saturday; break on Sunday.
