To be honest, I didn't like this post much, especially the second half. I'm not sure how to express what I am feeling about it, but I can at least say that I didn't appreciate it. I guess that is about it.

I liked your comment about the price you as a family would have to pay for a home that was spick and span.
I've often felt the same,and had others express to me how comfortable they have felt in a home without pretensions to appearing untouched by human hands.And now,moving into the later phases of my life,I feel comfortable that I chose the better part,and that my children have the inheritance of not having too much to live up to.I think it's important to get on with life in your home,rather than to have your hoeme control your life.
