(I) talk of Christ . . . and (I) write according to (my understanding), that (my) children (and friends) may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. (2 Nephi 25:26)
A beautiful story, although I am a little confused as to how such conflict could enter the sacred space of the temple.Perhaps the moral of this story is that the temple prompts people to reconciliation and forgiveness, but I had thought that was a prerequisite to temple worthiness.Still, nobody will be good enough for my babies so I know not of what I judge.
My in laws loathed me and may still do so from beyond the veil.We have had some marvelous genealogical info made available to us,but they forbad any work during their lifetime. Now they have both graduated,we somehow find ourselves not getting around to this.Thinking about it,i would still find it difficult to do proxy work for my MIL with integrity-depends on the day.I wonder,is forgiveness something we decide or something that grows in us? Working on this.
I currently try to post original thoughts on Fridays, with quotes on Tuesdays. Feel free to comment on new or old posts. Comments on posts over a month old are moderated to avoid spam and will be released whenever I notice them. The comment policy is at the bottom of this page.

Wow, Anonymous. My New Year's Resolution for this month is focused on forgiveness. What a fabulous thing to consider as I study it this month. Thanks!
