(I) talk of Christ . . . and (I) write according to (my understanding), that (my) children (and friends) may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. (2 Nephi 25:26)

This Linked Post Is One of My Favorites Ever: We Must Not Neglect the Humble Work
Deeply true.I'm glad to serve as I have been enabled, and to let go of the stuff that would have fed my ego, but it is a hard discipline. So I have learnt great respect for those who choose to do these jobs of caring. I think the author Michael Chabon wrote an article some time ago in which he suggested that our ability to truly love a person is proportionate to the intimate care that we take of them. I've thought frequently of late of how the Saviour chose to spend his time and mission in healing the hurts of humankind, and realise that I have barely started my discipleship.Still can't say I'm looking forward to it.
I currently try to post original thoughts on Fridays, with quotes on Tuesdays. Feel free to comment on new or old posts. Comments on posts over a month old are moderated to avoid spam and will be released whenever I notice them. The comment policy is at the bottom of this page.

Again, I am indebted to you for your kindness. God bless you, Ray.
