A Simply Stunning Post : "Bear My Joy or Let Me Weep Your Tears"
They closed the comments there, but I was struck by this post as well, including these lines:
It seems to me that some willingness to bear each other’s joy as well as our burdens is a necessary lubricant to sociality in the church. If the fact of someone’s pain requires silence about our own joy, the bearing of one another’s burdens becomes grim duty indeed
