Many scholars argue that he wasn't, that he was born in Nazareth, that the whole nativity story was altered for religious reasons. There was no census at the time indicated. There are other problems as well. I admire you desire to defend the Book of Mormon, but I think it can stand on its own.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
